Lukashenko: Belarus will not fall for promises, provocations or attempts to obfuscate direct military threat


 

Belarus responds to all attempts of intimidation with a consistent peacekeeping position and a policy of strategic deterrence, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a solemn meeting on the occasion of Victory Day in Minsk on 7 May, BelTA has learned.

 

"Belarus responds to all attempts of intimidation with a consistent peacekeeping position and a policy of strategic deterrence. We have taken into account the mistakes of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and will no longer fall for promises, provocations and attempts to obfuscate a direct military threat," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
