Belarus is now ready to pour max effort into the production of Belarusian cars. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement while talking to employees of the car factory SZAO BelGee, BelTA has learned.
The head of state said: “The enterprise is mature. Let’s not overpraise ourselves. We have yet to go a long way [in manufacturing localization].”
“We will move only forward from now on!” the Belarusian leader stressed.
The production of automobiles powered by pure electricity is one of the key global trends now. The president noted that Belarus had decided to follow down this path by developing the existing manufacturing facilities.
“The purpose of my arrival is the perspective,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
