Belarus preparing for single voting day

Nomination of candidates for deputies continues this week. Territorial and district election commissions will accept documents through January 15. Then the commissions will proceed to the registration of candidates: this period will last until the end of January. Only after that candidates have the right to start campaigning, which is one of the most active stages of the election campaign and the most visible one for the public. Campaigning is allowed until the single day of voting.
