Belarus takes in over 68,000 Ukrainian citizens since year start

A total of 68,585 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since the start of 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Nearly 49,216 Ukrainians entered Belarus via Poland, 17,016 via Lithuania, 2,327 via Latvia, and 26 via Ukraine.

A total of 143,289 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022: 15,916 directly from the territory of Ukraine, 95,721 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 27,166 via Lithuania and 4,486 via Latvia.
