A meeting of the Belarusian-Serbian Business Council and a match making session between business circles of the two countries are held in Minsk. The delegation consisted of representatives from Serbia and top managers of 29 companies and enterprises. Serbian businessmen are interested in developing cooperation in the field of chemical industry, food industry, construction, said president of Serbian Chamber of Commerce Zeljko Srecic:
“Our cooperation in economic sphere and trade turnover figures grow from year to year. A most important step was taken in 2008 when a free trade zone agreement was signed.
Both parties are working to attract businessmen from both countries to closer cooperation on the markets of Belarus and Serbia. The most advanced areas of our cooperation today are food and heavy industries, as well as civil engineering.”
