The State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus is inviting tenders to create a modern system to monitor transportation and logistics streams in Belarus on the basis of radio frequency identification.
According to the source, the Committee expects applications to take part in the tender, feasibility studies or business plans submitted by October.
The projects should be based on international standards and should enable compatibility of the smart monitoring system with the systems that exist or are being developed in other countries.
The solution will be used for wholesale and retail trade in consumer goods, for rendering paid services to individuals, for cargo and passenger transportation, export and import of commodities, digital workflow, control over the transportation of special cargoes and hazardous ones, and in using intellectual transport systems based on satellite communication technologies.
