Vladimir Kiku: A common cultural space is gradually taking shape in the CIS

           A common cultural space is gradually taking shape in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The opinion was voiced by Vladimir Kiku, Director of the Department for Humanitarian Cooperation, General Political and Social Problems of the CIS Executive Committee, at the international conference held in Minsk to discuss intercultural dialogue and interethnic interaction in the CIS .Vladimir Kiku noted that cultural space relies on the constantly evolving legal base. The Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS States plays a tangible role in it. It has initiated and prepared the concept for cooperation in cultural affairs and the concept to develop education in the sphere of culture and music.
        The plan of primary measures to implement the CIS future development concept is being fulfilled in all the branches of humanitarian cooperation. The plan provides for a set of measures to improve the practice of intercultural dialogue.
          Vladimir Kiku concluded by stating that basic conditions have been created in the CIS to form humanitarian and cultural cooperation, which is an inalienable part of the intercivilizational dialogue.
