Record monthly passenger numbers for Belavia in July

       The national air company Belavia transported a record high monthly traffic of over 200,000 passengers in July. 
      “This is the first time the air carrier has exceeded this figure,” the airline noted. The press service added that 156.6 tonnes of cargoes and post were transported in July 2013 (up 37.2%).
Recalling the most important developments in July, the press service said that a code sharing agreement between Belavia and OOO Airline Severstal entered into force on 10 July. From 27 July the air company increased the frequency of flights to Kyiv, Ukraine, to two daily flights.
       Belavia specialists cited the figures by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), according to which passenger traffic rose by 6% in H1 2013 in comparison with the same period in 2012.
