Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko pays a visit to Azerbaijan BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader. The two-day visit has an intensive negotiations agenda.
In particular, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev will have two meetings. One informal, for the heads of state to discuss major avenues of Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation and strategic issues of bilateral interaction. Official negotiations are scheduled for Wednesday. The presidents will meet in the narrow and extended formats with the participation of the delegations. Special attention will be drawn to the expansion of the trade and economic interaction and the intensification of cooperation. The sides will discuss industrial cooperation, current and promising projects in the manufacturing sector and food supplies, processing of agricultural products. The sides will also focus on cooperation in healthcare, science and technology, education and tourism.
The heads of state will discuss topical issues on the international agenda. After the talks the sides are expected to sign bilateral documents.
