Belarus is keen to advance investment and industrial cooperation and set up joint ventures in various fields with South Korea.

  These matters were in focus of a meeting between Belarusian Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Belarus Tae Jung Yeol, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry. “The Economy Ministry is actively working with the Belarusian National Agency of Investment and Privatization to expand investment cooperation and increase attractiveness of business environment in Belarus,” Aleksandr Chervyakov stressed as the parties discussed plans for establishing ties between the National Agency of Investment and Privatization and Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation. Apart from discussing the bilateral investment cooperation, the parties exchanged opinions about prospects for South Korea’s participation in implementation of various infrastructure projects in Belarus.
