Belarusian BelAZ ready for tighter manufacturing cooperation in Eurasian Economic Union

BelAZ’s participation in projects designed to develop manufacturing cooperation and import substitution within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union was discussed as Member of the Board (Minister) for Industry and Agribusiness Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission Artak Kamalyan visited the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ, BelTA has learned.

During a tour of the key manufacturing sites of the company BelAZ Director General Sergei Nikiforovich talked about the current state of affairs, about export dynamics, the geography of sales. The executive noted that manufacturing cooperation and foreign trade cooperation are the key factors that turn BelAZ’s attention to Eurasian Economic Union markets.

Sergei Nikiforovich said: “Eurasian Economic Union member states are strategic partners for us not only within the framework of trade relations but within the framework of manufacturing cooperation and the development of innovative projects. Our vehicles are a joint product of enterprises of all the Eurasian Economic Union member states. We are glad they are sold not only in the Eurasian Economic Union but third countries, too.”
