Rating of CIS universities to be compiled

      CIS universities will be rated by Expert RA Rating Agency. The CIS’ best universities will be rated using a multiple factor analysis. Experts will analyze statistical data and results of surveys conducted among the academic and scientific community, students, graduates and employers.
“Belarusians will also be able to take part in this large-scale research and rate national universities by completing a questionnaire on a special Internet portal,” the agency said.
      The major goal of the project is to offer an alternative to international ratings that fail to take into consideration specific features of higher learning in the CIS. According to analysts of Expert RA Rating Agency, the existing ratings are not able to provide an adequate evaluation of the quality of education and attainments of graduates on local labor markets. 
      The agency assured that the new rating will take into consideration specific features of higher learning in the Commonwealth. The research will focus on efforts to improve the quality of education and on the standing of graduates on the labor market of their country. The experts will also analyze the reputation of the rated universities in their country and other CIS member states.
