Belarus' Security Council chief, CSTO head discuss security matters

State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Valery Vakulchik met with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas in Minsk on 14 October, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

“The parties exchanged views on the state of things in international and regional security,” the State Secretariat informed.

In addition to that, the agenda featured cooperation between Belarus and the CSTO and the preparations for the session of the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils.

The parties also discussed the command and staff exercise Nerushimoye Bratstvo 2020 [Unbreakable Brotherhood] for peacemaking forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization that kicked off in Belarus on 12 October.
