The Belarus-France chamber of commerce and industry may be established in the next few years, we learnt from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko.“To illustrate the development of cooperation between the two states I would like to mention the registration of the joint business club in France and a representative office in Minsk in 2013, and these are positive examples. In line with the French law and according to the traditional practice, a bilateral chamber of commerce and industry can be established on the basis of this club,” Pavel Latushko said adding that the creation of such institution is possible in the course of next few years.
“France has established bilateral chambers of commerce and industry with 77 countries. The establishment of such organization will become an additional important instrument for the exchange of information about the economic potential of our countries that will facilitate trade and economic and investment cooperation,” the Ambassador said.
As was reported earlier, in January to April the Belarus-France trade totaled over $187.8 million.
