FC Shakhtyor, FC Minsk find out Europa League second qualifying round opponents

The Belarusian clubs FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk and FC Minsk discovered their Europa League second qualifying round opponents.

FC Minsk will encounter Valletta FC of Malta. The latter won both their matches in the first qualifying stage against SP La Fiorita of San Marino (3-0 away and 1-0 at home). FC Minsk will take on their opponents on 18 and 25 July playing the first leg away. The home match is due in Zhodino.

FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk will take on Moldova’s Milsami who got a narrow 1-0 aggregate victory after the only home goal in the first leg against Luxembourg’s Dudelange (1-0, 0-0). FC Shakhtyor are to meet Milsami at home in Soligorsk in the first leg on 18 July.

After winning 3-0 away and 5-0 at home against Lithuania’s FK Kruoja FC Dinamo Minsk of Belarus advanced to the second qualifying round where they have set up a date with Croatia’s NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. The first leg will be played in Minsk on 18 July with the second in Croatia’s capital Zagreb scheduled for 25 July.

Belarus’ FC BATE take on football club Shakhter of Kazakhstan at home on 16 July in the Champions League second qualifying round. The return will be played away on 23 July.
