Lukashenko leaves for official visit to China

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has left for the People’s Republic of China for an official visit.

 

During the visit the sides are set to sign a joint declaration and more than 20 bilateral agreements, protocols and contracts. Today Belarus and China are strategic partners.

 

Chinese ambassador to Belarus, Gong Jianwei, talks about the most promising joint projects:

 

 

First of all, this is an automobile plant we are going to construct by the end of 2015 not far from Borisov with the output up to 120 000 vehicles.

The second point is Chinese-Belarusian High-Tech Park. According to the presidential decree, it will be situated in the area of over 80 km2. on the first stage of its development we are going to invest $5.6 billion. We are going to attract not just Chinese or Belarusian investors but famous transnational corporations, so that they could use all the geographic opportunities of bealrus located in the center of Europe.
