Vietnam hails Belarus’ success, achievements

Vietnam hails achievements and success of Belarus. The statement was made by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Do Van Mai as he took part in the festivities timed to the Belarus Independence Day.

The diplomat noted the importance of the stable development of the country and drew attention to the invigoration of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation.

The Ambassador congratulated the Belarusians on the holiday and said that Belarus deserved its independence. In his words, Belarus’ history resembles the history of Vietnam, which had to defend its independence in complicated conditions.

“I am pleased that Belarus marks the Independence Day in such a solemn and beautiful manner,” said Do Van Mai.
