President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has arrived in Belarus on official visit

President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro Moros has arrived in Belarus on official visit.
The website of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Venezuela points out that mutual understanding and a high level of trust between the two countries are due to the shared approaches to the key issues of the international agenda and the shared vision of the multipolar world by Minsk and Caracas.
President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez visited Belarus five times: in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Alexander Lukashenko was on official visits to Venezuela in December 2007, March 2010 and June 2012. During these visits the two countries signed a number of important documents and inaugurated the Belarus-Venezuela joint venture to produce oil in Anzoategui State of Venezuela. Alexander Lukashenko was in Venezuela on 8 March 2013 to attend a funeral service for the late President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez.
