The Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) has extended the observer status for Belarus for two more years. The meeting of the council took place in Odessa. Observer status in the BSEC has been also extended for France, Germany, Italy and Tunisia. A meeting of the committee of senior officials of the BSEC was held in Odessa on 20 June, informed the Foreign Ministry. The meetings of the committee and the council were attended by Consul General of Belarus in Odessa Valentin Filipchik.
The meeting of the committee of senior officials of BSEC discussed cooperation between BSEC and EU, appointment of country coordinators of working groups, and related information on the cooperation between the BSEC member countries in the field of energy, transport, trade and economic development, environmental protection, agriculture, the Foreign Ministry said.
