Minsk will host Modern Pentathlon European Youth A Championships from 13 to 16 June. This will be the first time Belarus will host such event.
Competitions for this age group will include swimming and combined events (running and shooting), and will be held in accordance with the rules of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM) in the individual events. In addition, the tournament will also have team relays and mixed relay.
Competing in the Modern Pentathlon European Youth Championship will be 20 athletes from 110 countries including Austria, England, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, and Czechia.
