Belarus, Italy discuss ways to step up cooperation in economy, culture

         Belarus and Italy are looking into the ways to intensify cooperation in economy and culture. The issue was high on the agenda of the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Italy Yevgeny Shestakov and Director General for Political and Security Matters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy Sandro de Bernardin in Rome.
The parties discussed the current bilateral relations of Belarus and Italy as well as cooperation between Belarus and the EU.
       The parties shared opinions on the ways to intensify the Belarusian-Italian cooperation in the economic, cultural, sci-tech and humanitarian areas as well as a dialogue between the foreign political departments of the two countries.
