Belarus’ WTO accession to be discussed in Geneva 16 May

        The headquarters of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva hosts a multilateral meeting on accession of the Republic of Belarus to the WTO.
Attending the meeting is an inter-agency delegation of Belarus led by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Guryanov. 
         The task force on Belarus’ accession to the WTO comprising representatives from 41 countries review the foreign trade and economic regulations in Belarus, and discuss the next steps.
In the next few days the Belarusian delegation will hold a series of meetings with the delegations of Switzerland, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Salvador, Brazil, and Ecuador to discuss the terms of access of goods and services to the market of Belarus, which will be provided to the WTO member states after Belarus joins the Organization.
