            Expansion of trade and economic cooperation is discussed during an official visit to Belarus by Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung. The agenda includes conclusion of a free trade zone between the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan and Vietnam, joint projects in the field of engineering, agriculture and food, energy and mining.
According to representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Belogortsev, relations between the countries are developing dynamically across a variety of fields:

        The two countries enjoy a very friendly and productive political dialogue. Economic cooperation is on the rise. Certainly, the tourist industry and humanitarian component of our bilateral relations should progress and develop as well, to catch up with political and economic interests of the countries.
