Belarus hopes to expand supplies of rock haulers to Armenia, Belarus’ Industry Minister Dmitry Katerinich said as he met with Economy Minister of Armenia Vahram Avanesyan.
The Belarusian minister noted that Armenia has a well-developed mining industry, and BelAZ equipment with the payload of up to 130 tonnes is in demand in the country. “I hope we will deliver the first 160t BelAZ vehicles here by the end of the year for the development of new deposits,” the minister said.
Dmitry Katerinich also expressed readiness to organize supplies of other equipment produced in Belarus. Thus, Belarusian companies have developed a wide range of equipment and vehicles for agricultural needs, including equipment for vineyards.
In turn, the Economy Minister of Armenia expressed interest in the implementation of the preset joint project and development of new areas of cooperation for boosting bilateral trade.
