Lukashenko urges development of national food company

           Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko ordered to finalize the issue regarding the development of a national food company in Belarus. The issue was discussed during the head of state’s visit to the Polesie production section of the Molochnye Produkty in Khoiniki , we learnt from the presidential press service.
The operation of a big meat and dairy holding company in Gomel Oblast was in the focus of attention as well as the development of a national company at the bases of the similar holding companies in other oblasts. The President stressed that this sector requires a unified position on price formation in order to get the maximum benefit from the food exports. The national company, however, should not be involved in the sales so as not to undermine the initiative of the producers.
“You should find your place in the system that is currently developing. Undertake certain functions to allow the country get maximum return on the exports,” the President said addressing the executives of the agrarian sector.
