Belarusian specialists to build Novovoronezh nuclear station

        The Russian company OAO Atomenergoproject is considering the possibility of inviting Belarusian construction and installation companies to take part in the construction of power-generating units of Novovoronezh nuclear power plant No. 2. The statement was made by Atomenergoproject Director General Marat Mustafin as a Belarusian delegation visited the construction site of Novovoronezh nuclear power plant No. 2. The delegation included executives of construction and installation organizations.According to Marat Mustafin, Belarusian civil engineering enterprises enjoy a stable business reputation thanks to the serious manufacturing potential that meets all the modern requirements. Representatives of the Belarusian delegation remarked that the Novovoronezh construction project has a practical interest for them. The Belarusian nuclear power plant is being built using the same design and will be commissioned in 2018.
The main purpose of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to the construction site was getting familiar with the progress of the nuclear power plant’s construction and establishing long-term partnership ties.
