National selection for Miss Spring Queen 2013 scheduled for 5 April

          The national selection for the inter-university beauty pageant Miss Spring Queen 2013 will be held at the National Library of Belarus on 5 April, we learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM).
         Regional selection rounds are now underway in Belarus. To qualify for the regional selection round a contestant has to win the university round. During the national selection the jury will pick two beauties who will represent Belarus in the final show that will be held at the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater in Minsk on 3 May. 
        Taking part in the contest are under- and post-graduate students, teachers and other professionals representing universities of the CIS member states and the near-border countries. Eligible participants must be aged from 17 to 25 years. At the national and international rounds the contestants will take part in a catwalk show and a talent show, make a presentation and answer questions of the jury.
The international beauty pageant aims to identify and support talented young women, promote student activities and celebrate the cultural diversity of the CIS member states and near-border countries.
