Ninth national contest Televershina to be held in Minsk

        The Belarusian regional and national broadcast organizations have launched 206 bids to participate in the 9ht national contest Televershina.
In 2013 regional studios submitted 108 bids. The number of nominations at the 9th national contest Televershina has grown to 24. From now on, the jury will choose the best daily news program and the best news round-up in two different nominations. The best news presenter nomination has been also divided in two.
         A couple of new nominations have been introduced, including the best educational, entertainment and thematic programs. The latter will include automobile, culinary and other TV projects.
The contest will feature the TV projects that have been broadcast in 2012. A panel of judges, which includes famous directors, scriptwriters, actors and journalists, will decide three finalists in each nomination.
The project aims to give all-round assistance to the development of the national TV broadcasting, create a full-fledged information space of Belarus, and improve the professional skills of journalists and other media representatives.
       The award ceremony of the Televershina contest is set to be held in Minsk on 19 April.
