Belarus to triple exports in 2013

      The current year the Belarusian government is going to triple exports. In addition to traditional partners like Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, other CIS member states and the EU, Belarus has been exploring new markets in Vietnam, India, Venezuela, Bangladesh, Myanma, etc.
According to a political analyst Yury Tsarik, the markets of Asia seem very attractive for Belarus:

     For Belarus Asian markets are very interesting. They are steady rising in spite of the financial crisis. Approaching the market is very promising. Besides potash fertilizes, we have several products in which they are interested, like the heavy dump trucks, tractors, industrial machinery, as well as food products. They will always be in demand, which is good for us.
      Now we’re focusing on expanding the instruments of exports support. This is world practice. In order to enter into a new market it is necessary not just to supply your products but provide purchase credits and so on. On the one hand it is quite pricey but as soon as your products are in demand on the market you’ll be able to do business on our own terms there.
