Direct flight to connect Minsk, Nice in summer 2013

      A direct flight between Minsk and Nice will be opened in summer 2013, we learnt from Operations Deputy Director General of Minsk National Airport Vasily Kornev.
The flight will be operated by the national air carrier. The company is also expected to launch a direct flight to Samara next summer. A direct flight between Minsk and Barcelona opens on 26 December 2012.
Apart from new directions, the number of flights will increase on the existing routes. Russia’s Aeroflot, Sibir, UTair and Severstal will fly to Minsk in 2013. Sibir and UTair will operate daily flights to Minsk. Belavia and Aeroflot will operate flights 3-4 times a day.   
      According to Vasily Kornev, flights are conducted twice a day from Minsk to Saint Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Kyiv. Two flights per day are operated between Minsk and Vienna. Flights are also conducted to Frankfurt and Warsaw.
