Belarus-Lithuania dialogue advancement discussed

      Steps to advance the Belarus-Lithuania dialogue were discussed at the meeting of Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Ms Yelena Kupchina and Charge d'Affaires ad Interim of Lithuania in Belarus Mr Jonas Daniliauskas.
      The press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA the sides discussed several matters of mutual interest and concrete steps to further develop the bilateral dialogue and interaction in various areas, including taking into account Lithuania’s forthcoming presidency in the European Union in 2013.
Jonas Daniliauskas delivered the message of Lithuanian Foreign Minister Mr Linas Linkevicius sent to Belarusian Foreign Minister Mr Vladimir Makei on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Belarus and Lithuania. The diplomat also delivered personal messages from Prime Minister Mr Algirdas Butkevicius and former Lithuanian head of government Mr Andrius Kubilius sent to Prime Minister of Belarus Mr Mikhail Myasnikovich.
