Belarus and Latvia hold ministerial consultations in Riga

        Belarus and Latvia hold ministerial consultations in Riga, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus informed.
“According to the established practice, the consultations are being held at the level of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries. The Belarusian delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna. The Latvian delegation is led by State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrejs Pildegovics. The parties are set to discuss the prospects for expanding political, economic, trade and transit cooperation between the two countries, implementing joint investment projects, cooperation in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union, and different aspects of the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union.
