Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva took 2nd place in pursuit at the Biathlon World Cup first stage, which was held in Swedish Ostersund. Domracheva started off on the 7th position 38 second behind the leader Norwegian Tura Berger. In 10km race with four shootings Belarusian made just one mistake, and showed the result of 31 min.31, 7 sec., up 5 positions from the initial line-up.
Though Domracheva failed to catch up with the winner, Tura Berger (31 min.1, 9 sec.), who also made one mistake, she, nevertheless, reduced the lag after sprint by 9 seconds.
Third place went to German Andrea Henkel (no misses, 51.5 sec.), who started 5th.
