Cooperation between Belarus and Rostov Oblast of Russia has a huge potential and great prospects. The opinion was voiced by Prime Minister of Belarus Mr Mikhail Myasnikovich after meeting with Rostov Oblast Governor Mr Vasily Golubev in Minsk.
The Belarusian head of government was satisfied with the level of cooperation and the arrangements made during the visit. He pointed out interaction in the area of civil engineering and architecture, joint work of architects on key projects in housing construction and civil engineering, interaction in the area of public transport and cooperation in agriculture. Possible development of the Gomselmash-Rostselmash project was discussed:
«If we merge these two companies we could garner a solid footing not only the market of the Customs Union, but also actively work in third countries, too. So far, I am told, there are certain difficulties in establishing directs contacts between these two companies, Rostselmash and Gomselmash, but as they say, it takes time to do things in a proper way.»
