Books published in St Euphrosyne Convent to be displayed in Novopolotsk

      Nuns of the Convent of the Savior and St Euphrosyne will display new books published in the convent in the Mayakovsky Novopolotsk Central Library.
      On 18 March the library will host a traditional meeting with the novitiates of the Convent of the Savior and St Euphrosyne dedicated to the Day of Orthodox Book. The nuns will tell about the history and present-day life in the convent and will display new books published there. These include Gates Visible and Invisible by V.N.Glushkov; Graffiti of the Savior Transfiguration Church in Polotsk of the 12th-17th Centuries by I.Z.Zalipov.
According to the library, the first book is the collection of poems. The second book will be interesting for historians, paleographers, linguists and all fans of history. Frescos of the Savior Transfiguration Church in Polotsk are the major attraction of the church. The book includes photos of all original frescos.
