Union State MPs to consider Victory’s 70th Anniversary action plan

        The Belarus-Russia Union State PA commission for social policy, science, culture and humanitarian issues will sit in Orenburg on 12 March, the PA press service reports. The MPs will take stock of the progress made in the implementation of the Union State events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazis. The MPs will also consider the performance of the Union State budget in 2014-2015. Besides, the meeting will focus on the preparations of the permanent PA seminar on the Union State development issues and other events. Attending the meeting apart from MPs will be representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee, the Education Ministry of Belarus, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Russia. On 13 March members of the commission will visit the Orenburg Presidential Cadet College.
