Reimbursements for purchasing products of 49 Belarusian companies

       Foreign banks and leasing companies will be reimbursed some of the interest money in contracts to buy products made by 49 Belarusian companies, the press service of the Belarus government reports. Those are Belarus tractors, trolleybuses, trams, elevators, machine tools, automobile tires, and others. In accordance with Belarus president decree of 30 January 2015 Belarus will compensate part of the interest money in leasing contracts on foreign purchases of Belarusian products. The decree provides for using money of the central state budget to reimburse part of the lease payments in leasing contracts signed in 2015-2016 for a period of at most five years to buy Belarus-made products. The decree reads that non-resident banks will also be reimbursed part of the interest money on loans issued for a period of at most five years and used by foreign borrowers in 2009-2014 to buy Belarusian goods and refinance costs of leasing companies.
Part of the interest money will be reimbursed for similar loans issued to non-residents in 2015-2016 except for leasing companies.
