Makei: Some EEU issues transferred to domain of Belarus-Russia relations

        Since the signing of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) Treaty some of the issues have been transferred to the domain of the Belarusian-Russian relations, which attests to the relevance of the latter, Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said at a joint meeting of the foreign ministries of Belarus and Russia in Minsk.
       "We believe that this attests to the relevance of the Belarusian-Russian interaction within the framework of the Union State," the Minister said. He noted that the matter is about the political, cultural and military interaction and also the economic cooperation.
       Vladimir Makei stressed also that the agenda of today's meeting was quite extensive, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Speaking about the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the minister said that Belarus and Russia should resist the attempts to rewrite history.
