Belarus concerned about worsening situation in Ukraine


        Belarus is concerned about the worsening situation tendency in Ukraine. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Minsk, BelTA reports. “The situation around our borders, around the Union State of Belarus and Russia has been a matter of concern recently. We cannot agree with the activities pursued by Western nations at the western borders of our Union State. We cannot agree with the tendency for a worsening situation in Ukraine, not only in the regions of Donbass and Donetsk but the entire Ukraine,” noted the Belarus President. “We hoped a lot that after the elections the situation would advance in a better direction, in the direction of stability. Unfortunately, we don’t see it,” said the Belarusian head of state.
