Russian tax maneuver to have no great effect upon trade between Customs Union members

The tax maneuver in the Russian oil industry will not greatly affect trade between Customs Union member states, BelTA  quotes Andrei Slepnev, Minister for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

“The tax maneuver will certainly affect mutual supplies but not by a lot because the situation has already been addressed within the framework of Belarusian-Russian relations, including the revenues Belarus may have missed,” said Andrei Slepnev. “For the Russian side the tax maneuver will simply allow reducing the share of duties in the total amount of money that oil companies pay to the state budget”.
