Belarus to attend 131st IPU Assembly in Geneva

         The parliamentary delegation of Belarus takes part in the 131st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva, the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus reports. The Belarusian delegation led by Vladimir Senko, chairman of the permanent commission for international affairs and national security of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, will partake in the work of the permanent committees, the IPU Governing Council, and the Coordinating Committee of Women Parliamentarians.
      Belarusian MP Yelena Shamal will make a speech about the achievement of gender equality and elimination of violence against women.
