Listapad film festival in Minsk to open 7 November

       The 21st edition of Listapad International Film Festival which is due in Minsk on 7-14 November will be held under the slogan "Film Genres are Many and Various", BelTA qoutes the press service of the festival.
The film forum will make an accent on the diversity of film genres presented in both the competition and out-of-competition programs. Fiction films are found side by side with documentaries. Minsk will see world premieres of recognized filmmakers and debuts of young producers. Genre and art films, thrillers, dramas and comedies – everyone is able to find something to his/her liking.
      “The genre variety is designed to confirm the artistic status of the cinema that knows how to attract the spectator and keep him in the reality we live in,” Igor Sukmanov, director of the fiction film programs, said.
