Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka has received her 2024 awards, BelTA has learned.
The world number one got the WTA Player of the Year 2024 Award during the ongoing tennis tournament in Indian Wells, the United States. Last season Aryna Sabalenka won two Grand Slam tournaments - the Australian Open and the US Open, as well as two more prestigious events in Cincinnati, USA, and Wuhan, China. Aryna Sabalenka also won the Jerry Diamond ACES Award for her dedication to promote women's tennis and charitable activities.
At the 2025 Indian Wells edition, Aryna Sabalenka has reached the round of Last 16 where she is to face Sonay Kartal of the UK.
