President's address described as key event for Belarusian People’s Congress

The key event for the Belarusian People’s Congress will be the President's Address to the Parliament and the Belarusian people, Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeyenko said at the meeting of the Council of the House of Representatives, BelTA learned. 

“The Belarusian People's Congress will convene for a regular session in April. All members of the House of Representatives are its delegates. Undoubtedly, the key event will be the deliver by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, of his annual Address to the Parliament and the Belarusian people, in which the head of state will set the accents in the domestic and foreign policies of the country. The task of the Parliament and all branches of power is to ensure the clear implementation of the course outlined by the leader of the country,” Igor Sergeyenko said.
