Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Equatorial Guinea

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

 

“Being an independent state, Belarus understands very well the importance of this festive date for your country, which symbolizes the key achievements - sovereignty and freedom," the message said.

 

The president noted that he warmly recalls the recent personal meeting in Minsk: "During your historic first visit to Belarus, we laid a solid foundation for the development of mutually beneficial dialogue between the two states in the manufacturing sector, agriculture, education, healthcare and others."

 

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the two countries will be advancing the fraternal relations in an atmosphere of respect and trust with an aim to improve the well-being of citizens.

 

The Belarusian president wished the president of Equatorial Guinea health and inexhaustible energy, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the country.
