Belarus has joined the NoGAP project aimed at bridging the gap between research and innovation in the European Union and the Eastern Partnership member states, Yuri Lukashevich, Aide to the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus told media. The project was initiated by 13 organizations from six countries, including Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine. The total cost of the project is over €1 million,” Yuri Lukashevich said. The organizers will come up with recommendations designed to enhance economic efficiency of research. The project will strengthen the existing partnerships and create new ones. Training sessions will be held to improve qualifications of researchers and businessmen.
The overall objective of the project is to reinforce cooperation with Eastern Partnership countries to develop a “Common Knowledge and Innovation Space” to get safe and clean energy.
