Minsk hosts Belarus-Japan ministerial consultations

       Consultations between the foreign ministries of Belarus and Japan were held in Minsk. The Belarusian delegation was led by the head of Asia, Australia and Oceania at the Foreign Ministry Andrei Grinkevich, the Japanese delegation by Assistant Vice-Minister Takeshi Hikihara. The sides discussed the entire range of issues of bilateral relations, including cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian areas.
Also, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Valentin Rybakov met with Takeshi Hikihara to discuss the current state of the Belarusian-Japanese relations, cooperation in mitigating the consequences of accidents at nuclear power plants and prospects of development of humanitarian cooperation.
