Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the country celebrates Republic Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

 

“Despite a number of unprecedented challenges and threats faced by our countries this year, we have preserved and successfully maintained bilateral cooperation in various sectors due to the high level of mutual respect and trust,” the message of congratulations reads.

 

The head of state expressed confidence that the Belarusian-Turkish partnership in political, trade, economic and humanitarian areas would continue to develop steadily and fruitfully for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.

 

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Recep Tayyip Erdogan strong health and every success on the post of the president of Turkey and also peace and wellbeing to the people of the country.
