The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved the draft roadmap to set up a common market for organic agricultural products, Aide to the Chairman of the EEC Board Iya Malkina told a press briefing on 21 October, BelTA has learned. The roadmap provides for drawing up an international agreement on free movement of organic agricultural products in the EAEU. “Plans are in place to lay down common requirements for manufacturing, marking and labeling, certification, and import of such products into the EAEU customs territory and to ensure mutual recognition of conformity assessment documents,” Iya Malkina explained. “We intend to engage in a dialogue with international organizations and get access to markets of third countries with our organic products,” she added.
