Vitebsk Plant of Tractor Spare Parts has started making new products

 

Vitebsk Plant of Tractor Spare Parts has started making new products, the company’s representatives told BelTA.

 

The company’s output exceeded Br30 million in January-August. The plant ships 50-70% of the output to the Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ while the rest is sold on the market. So far the company has exported about $2.8 million worth of merchandise and intends to export as much as $3.5 million worth of merchandise this year. The parts the company makes are sold in 24 countries across the globe, with Russia getting about 70% of the total export.

 

Vitebsk Plant of Tractor Spare Parts has acquired a vertical machining center that will allow the company to come up with a brand new technology for making brake discs. The discs will be competitive on the market and on par with European products. The company is busy mastering the production of virtually the entire lineup of brake discs.

 

The company operates in the black, with the profitability close to 8%. All the money will be channeled into fixed-capital investments, including the acquisition of equipment and machines.
